Bastille perform festive classics & more for Absolute Radio's Virtual Office Christmas Party
They get the day started in style

Absolute Radio’s Virtual Office Christmas Party kicked off in fine style during Dave Berry’s Breakfast Show this morning (4th December) with a very special yuletide performance from Bastille.
Truly embracing the festive spirit, Bastille donned special outfits for the occasion – including a trio of fetching Christmas jumpers, an elf outfit sported by bassist Will, and a Scrooge ‘Bah Humbug’ T-shirt worn by drummer Woody.
The exclusive performance kicked off with the synth-pop quartet playing their summer 2020 anthem ‘What You Gonna Do???’ (the studio version of which featured Blur’s Graham Coxon on guitar and co-vocals) before they launched into fellow ‘Goosebumps EP’ track ‘Survivin’.
Taking us into truly festive realms, Bastille then played a stunning stripped back medley of The Pretenders’ ‘2000 Miles’, ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’ and ‘Feliz Navidad.’ Genuinely spine-tingling stuff.
Bastille concluded their sublime set emphatically with a rousing rendition of their all-conquering 2013 anthem ‘Pompeii’.
