The days are getting longer and warmer which can only mean one thing... festival season is fast approaching!

The Long Road Festival is back at Leicestershire's Stanford Hall from the 26th to 28th August 2022. Not only will there be over 40 artists playing over the weekend at the stately home's 700 acre grounds, you'll also find workshops, pop-up fun and some of the best food and drink around at The Long Road.

To help get us even MORE excited than we already are, Absolute Radio Country presenters are choosing their favourite artists on The Long Road line-up. The Shires' Ben Earle has chosen all his mates from Nashville. What are friends for?!

"I’m so excited to see my good friend from Nashville, Lauren Alaina. It’s been too long. Can’t wait to hear her voice soaring across the festival from the main stage."

"I’ve never seen Chris Young live and I’m sure he’ll be incredible. I wonder if he’ll sing Town Ain’t Big Enough with Lauren Alaina too. 🤔 That would be awesome!"

"I can’t wait to see Cassadee Pope bringing her unique style of Country Pop Punk to the festival. She’s going to rock out Long Road."

And what is Ben looking forward to the most about The Long Road?

"The Honky Tonk part of the festival is one of the coolest places on earth. It’s the closest to a bar in Nashville I’ve ever been outside of Nashville!"

Check out the line-up so far below. We'll see you at the Honky Tonk for an ice cold beer!
