'Invisible' singer Hunter Hayes was unveiled as the Astronaut on The Masked Singer USA earlier this week, narrowly missing out on a place in the show's quarter finals.
Before revealing his identity, the show's panelists Nick Cannon, Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong, and Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger gave their guesses, with Nicole correctly guessing the country music star.

In an interview with Variety, the 28-year-old singer revealed the reasons he chose to take part in The Masked Singer.
"It was a great chance for me to step out of my comfort zone and try new things in a safe place — even though it airs on national TV," Hunter explained. “I think being behind a mask gave me confidence and gave me the chance to really push myself."
During the interview, Hunter also spoke about his costume choice. The singer, who had been given the choice of the Astronaut or the Robot, said, "When we saw the Astronaut, it was as if they tailored this mask, based on my current story.
"Especially when I saw it in person and started working in the suit, it definitely felt like an extension of me, more than a costume. Other than the fact that it was very challenging to move in and breathe in."
For his last performance on the show, Hunter sang 'Story of My Life' by One Direction.
Hunter, a five-time GRAMMY Award nominee, has had four studio albums, two of which reached Number 1 in the US Country chart. He's also had a number of successful hits, including Top 10 songs, 'Wanted' and 'Somebody's Heartbreak' in 2012, and 'I Want Crazy' in 2013.
