Maren Morris is one of the hottest country stars right now. After winning a Grammy at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards (2017) and receiving over a staggering 600 million streams for her massive tune 'The Middle' with DJ Zedd, the country singer is only on the up.

Fresh from releasing her second album, 'GIRL', on 8th March 2019, which includes popular track 'The Bones', the singer has shared a throwback video to her Facebook fans.

The video, from 2015, shows a young Maren Morris singing to a small audience, belting out her now famous single, 'My Church'.

Maren captions the video, 'damn. someone unearthed this from 2015 when I played My Church for the first time live. i had just written it and had a show at the Bluebird with Ryan Hurd and our friends. before it went to Spotify, before i signed a record deal. hell, this was when Ryan and i weren’t even dating yet.

She continues with an emotional message, 'if I could tell this girl back then what would happen to her because of this song, she would have probably told me to f--- off. life is much different now since that day, but I wouldn’t change a move or a misstep cause I’m so damn happy right now. 🙌🏼💒' sic

Debut single 'My Church', officially released in January 2016, now has over 70 million online streams. It was this song that clinched Maren the award for Best Country Solo Performance at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards.
