It seemed that everyone in the country music world was rooting for Lauren Alaina to win this year's Dancing with the Stars, but unfortunately it wasn't to be. Lauren and her professional partner Gleb Savchenko took to the stage last night on the American TV show to perform two dances, both to country music tunes.
The pair performed a foxtrot to 'Jolene', by Dolly Parton, followed by a freestyle dance to 'Country Girl (Shake It for Me)', by Luke Bryan. However, sadly Lauren and Gleb ended up in fourth place, with their foxtrot only getting nines from the judges, whilst their freestyle got straight 10s.
Before the show, Luke Bryan, who released the song that Lauren danced to took Twitter telling his fans, 'The song choice tonight is for sure a 10 haha. Let’s go @Lauren_Alaina . Y’all vote! #DWT'.

After the pair were placed in fourth, fans took to social media to support the country music singer saying, 'not going to bash anyone but you should have placed higher than 4th place...on a seperate issue my wife wants to know where she can get your black jacket with the stars on it? 😉 Great job!' sic
Another fan tweeted, 'She did amazingly! It was a strong top 4 this year! ♥️'.
Lauren and Gleb were placed fourth behind, Fifth Harmony singer Ally Brooke and Sasha Farber in third, comedian Kel Mitchell and Witney Carson in second and actress Hannah Brown and Alan Bersten to won the TV show.
