Singer Kelly Clarkson was recently joined on her show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, by Craig Morgan, who was performing a song about his late son. The country music star sang 'The Father, My Son And The Holy Ghost' with so much emotion, that many people watching the performance had to hold back tears, including the show's host Kelly, Blake Sheldon and Eva Mendes, who were watching in silence.

Craig, who is known for his hits, 'That's What I Love About Sunday', and 'Bonfire', wrote the song about his son Jerry, who at the age of 19 went missing after he fell off an innertube on Kentucky Lake on the Tennessee River, three years ago.

Obviously a very sad time in his life, the emotion comes through in Craig's lyrics such as, 'I know my boy ain't here but he ain't gone', and 'I cried and cried and cried, Until I passed out on the floor, Then I prayed and prayed and prayed, Till I thought I couldn't pray anymore'.

After Craig finished his performance Kelly, Blake and Eva all rose to their feet, with Kelly walking over to give the singer a well-needed hug, as she was also choking on the tears streaming down her face.

We can really feel the emotion watching this video too... 😢
