Country music stars pay tribute to Joe Diffie who has sadly passed away

Joe Diffie, known for his hits, 'Third Rock from the Sun', 'Bigger Than the Beatles' and 'It's Always Somethin'' has sadly passed away due to complications with Coronavirus.

The sad news was confirmed on the singer's social media channels which read, 'GRAMMY®-winning country music legend Joe Diffie passed away today, Sunday, March 29 from complications of coronavirus (COVID-19). His family requests privacy at this time.'

After hearing the incredibly sad news many country music stars have been taking to Twitter to pay tribute to the 61-year-old singer. Keith Urban said, 'Can't believe the news about Joe Diffie', whilst Carrie Underwood tweeted, ''Absolutely no words for the loss of Joe Diffie.'

'I Love You This Big' singer Scotty McCreery shared a photo of himself with Joe saying, 'Always great when you meet someone you’re a huge fan of, and they exceed all of your expectations. Joe was the man.'
