Dolly Parton WOULD be up for a collaboration with Taylor Swift 🤞
She spoke to Baylen Leonard
Not only is Dolly Parton up for a collaboration with Elton John, she's admitted she'd also be up for doing one with Taylor Swift! The country legend joined Baylen Leonard on Absolute Country Radio to talk about her new album 'Rockstar'.
Telling Baylen she'd be up for a Taylor collaboration if the time was right, she said: "I would be honoured, because I love her. I've always respected and appreciated how Taylor runs her business, and minds herself, how she knows exactly what she's doing, how to market herself and how to kind of keep all that self-contained.
"But she's a great writer, great singer, great business woman. So, if the time ever arises, of course... she's so busy, I didn't even think to ask her (about 'Rockstar'), because she had her own album coming out that she's having to promote, but I was looking more for like rock, but she's more mainstream... everybody loves Taylor."
Dolly continued: "But I admire her, and if and when the time comes I bet we will do something."
During the chat, Dolly also revealed she's received a call from Elton where he asked her to be on one of his tracks. Dolly and Elton previously collaborated for her album 'Rockstar' on 'Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me'.
