Dolly Parton has reworked her most famous song to celebrate the side hustle lifestyle for a new advert which will air during this weekend’s Super Bowl.

Dolly has reimagined her classic song ‘9 to 5’, with the new version of the track called ‘5 to 9’, celebrating those who work less traditional hours in an advert for Squarespace.

The country music legend told the Associated Press, ‘A lot of people through the years have wanted to change the lyrics to fit certain things they’re doing

‘I really thought that was a wonderful thing, especially for Squarespace. They’re so into people, new entrepreneurs working after hours to start their own businesses. ‘5 to 9’ seemed to be a perfect thing when they pitched it.’

The ad, which was directed by La La Land’s Damien Chazelle, features the new tune with Dolly singing, “Working five to nine, you’ve got passion and a vision/ Cos it’s hustlin’ time, a whole new way to make a livin’.

“Gonna change your life/ Do something that gives it meaning/ With a website worthy of your dreamin’.”

Dolly also revealed that she had been asked to do the prestigious Super Bowl half-time show multiple times.

She added, ‘I’ve been asked several times to be part of that. It’s always such a big commitment. I’ve always kind of chickened out. I know it’s just a big commitment. If you do good, you do great. If you do bad, you do bad in front of all those people. This seemed like the perfect kind of way to do it.’

The Super Bowl takes place on 7th February and sees the Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on the Kansas City Chiefs in Tampa, Florida.
