It's been a busy year for the Queen of Country - Dolly Parton. Not only has she released her own Christmas film on Netflix - Dolly Parton's Christmas on the Square, she also helped to co-fund a COVID-19 vaccine, and she'll also be joining us on Country Hits Radio for a very special show - Holly Dolly Christmas, later this week.
Now, it's understood that she will be going on a world tour next year to celebrate her 75th birthday, which is on 19th January 2021.
According to United Talent Agency’s Neil Warnock we should, "Expect ‘Dolly Fest’ to go global in 15 stadiums," telling Music Week, "We have (them) on hold right now. And it will be very Dolly."
Despite no official word from Dolly herself, it sounds like we can expect a mammoth world tour from the icon, in a year that already looks set to be very busy for her.
In 2021, Dolly is due to launch her new Broadway Show, feature in some films, release a book, and a new album.
This follows Dolly's latest album which is Christmas-themed called 'A Holly Dolly Christmas' and features a number of new songs and covers including, 'Cuddle Up, Cozy Down Christmas' with Michael Bublé and 'Christmas Is' with her goddaughter Miley Cyrus.
