Carrie Underwood joins The Ty Bentli Show ahead of the CMA Awards

In the run up to one of the biggest nights in country music, the CMA Awards, the one and only Carrie Underwood will be co-hosting The Ty Bentli Show on Absolute Radio Country tonight! (13th November) from 5pm.
You can hear all the latest direct from Nashville, as we prepare for an amazing night of music kicked off with an all-female collaboration described as, 'A monumental decades-spanning medley never before seen.'
Led by Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton, it will feature Terri Clark, Sara Evans, Crystal Gayle, The Highwomen (Brandi Carlile, Natalie Hemby, Maren Morris and Amanda Shires), Martina McBride, Jennifer Nettles, Tanya Tucker and Gretchen Wilson.
This year's CMA Awards looks set to be one to remember, with not only the groundbreaking all-female collab, but also the chance to see Maren Morris perform her solo hit 'Girl'.
The initial list of performers were announced a few months ago, followed by even more big names announced in October including, Kelsea Ballerini, Brooks & Dunn with Brothers Osborne, Garth Brooks with Blake Shelton, Dan + Shay, Kacey Musgraves with Willie Nelson, Lady Antebellum and Halsey, Old Dominion, Blake Shelton, and Thomas Rhett.
Earlier this week Maren Morris shared an emotional video of her acceptance speech from 2016 when she won New Artist of the Year. In the video Maren told the audience, "Yall! I can't win this award right after performing, I'm going to fall apart. I'm sorry!"
The 'I Could Use a Love Song' singer went on to say how it was "crazy" because the year before she watched the prestigious show from a "bar across the road".
This year, Maren is up for six nominations, including Album Of The Year for her album 'Girl', along with Single, Song, and Music Video Of The Year, also for her song 'Girl', featured on the album of the same name.
The CMA Awards will take place tonight (13th November) at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.
