Carrie Underwood is a force to be reckoned with in Country music. Not only is the singer very popular, with hits such as 'Heartbeat' and 'Something in the Water', she's also just picked up her 22nd CMT Award! The singer broke her own record as she picked up the awards recently for Video of the Year and Best Female Video for 'Drinking Alone'.
Despite the awards ceremony being held without an audience due to Coronavirus, Carrie's acceptance speech was shown where she thanked all of her fans for voting for her, in a year that she hasn't been able to see many of them, as she can't tour.
"This one is all about you guys especially," Carrie said, "Because we again haven't been together, but I feel so loved tonight."
Carrie later took to her socials to share a heartfelt message to her fans, where she said, "You guys did it again, thank you so much.
"You guys are absolutely amazing, I feel beyond loved tonight and please know that I am giving it right back to you guys. Thank you so much, I appreciate it more than you guys could know. Thank you, love you guys."
This year's CMT Awards was hosted by Ashley McBryde, Kane Brown and Sarah Hyland.
