Multi-award winning country music artist Carrie Underwood is set to release a full-length Christmas album this year and it's coming sooner than you probably thought. After announcing a Christmas album was coming earlier this year, the 'Southbound' singer has now confirmed the release date of 25th September, and its title 'My Gift'.
Carrie has also dropped a trailer for the new album in which she describes how it came about, and how she's continued to record it during lockdown. Describing her favourite song on the album as 'Little Drummer Boy', Carrie says, "The sentiment behind it is just so honest, just a little boy, and of course I think of my five-year-old Isaiah."
Carrie's new album includes a number of musical collaborators, led by GRAMMY Award-winning multi-instrumentalist Greg Wells, who produced and arranged the album, along with a world-class orchestra.
The country singer has previously recorded a number of Christmas songs including, 'Hark! The Herald Angels Sing', 'The First Noel', 'What Child Is This' and 'O Holy Night', for a special edition album.
