Country music star Blake Shelton and his girlfriend No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani have announced their engagement, five years after meeting on the set of The Voice where they were both judges.
Blake took to his socials to share a cute photo of the couple kissing, as Gwen shows off her new ring, saying, 'Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020... And the rest of my life.. I love you. I heard a YES!'
Gwen also took to her socials to say '. @blakeshelton yes please! gx' (sic), sharing the same gorgeous picture.
Since announcing their lovely news celebrities and fans alike have been sharing their messages of congratulations. American Music Awards nominees Dan + Shay said, 'congrats y'all!', meanwhile, John Legend said, 'Congratulations! Amazing news!!!!', and a fan of the couple tweeted, 'I'm literally crying and shaking and about to embarrass myself at work. I'm so happy for you I can't even deal with it'.
We congratulated them by saying, 'YAY! Congratulations from your UK Country family. 🤩🧡💒👏🇬🇧'.
This lovely news comes a day after the couple's collaboration 'Nobody But You' was nominated at the American Music Awards for Favourite song - country, and Blake's album 'Fully Loaded: God’s Country' was nominated for Favourite album - country.
