Lainey Wilson gets 'hitched' to former NFL player Duck Hodges

Country megastar Lainey Wilson and former NFL quarterback Devlin 'Duck' Hodges have got married in a BEAUTIFUL outdoor ceremony in Tennessee.

The couple, who have been together for five years, got hitched last Sunday 10th May at The Ruskin Cave — a picturesque and historic natural spot, which they fell in love with on a 'backroad' drive.

The newlyweds shared the news on Instagram on Thursday 14th May, simply captioning a series of stunning pics 'we’re hitched! 🤍'.

The couple first met on a blind date back in 2021, but kept their romance relatively quiet, as the GRAMMY Award-winning singer's career took off, with hits like 'Heart Like A Truck' and '4x4xU'.

They've since been seen on a number of red carpets together, including their debut as a couple at the ACM Awards in May 2023 and at a recent screening of Lainey's new Netflix documentary, Lainey Wilson: Keepin' Country Cool, which was released on April 22nd 2026.

Duck popped the question back in February 2025, on the doorstep of country singer George Jones' estate, which the groom-to-be covered with rose petals!

The intimate wedding took place just over a year later at the foot of a beautiful waterfall, with Lainey arriving by white horse-drawn carriage. According to Vogue, the newlyweds then danced the night away to RAYE's 'Where Is My Husband' and New Orleans group Rebirth Brass Band, before driving off together in an old white Ford truck.
