Lainey Wilson Tops the List with Six Nominations

Lainey Wilson is up for six nominations at this year's awards

The nominations have been announced for ‘Country Music’s Biggest Night’; the 56th Annual CMA Awards.

First-time nominee, Lainey Wilson is up for the most awards with six nods in total including New Artist of The Year, Female Vocalist of The Year, Album of The Year and Song of The Year for 'Things A Man Oughta Know'.

Breland, Walker Hayes and Parker McCollum are also celebrating being first-time nominees in 2022.

Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, Chris Stapleton and songwriter/producer Shane McAnally have five nominations each. While Cody Johnson and songwriter/producer Josh Osborne both receive four nominations.

Luke Combs won the CMA Award for Entertainer of The Year in 2021. He’s also nominated again this year alongside Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton, Carrie Underwood and Morgan Wallen.

The CMA Awards takes place Wednesday 9th November 2022 in Nashville and will be hosted by Luke Bryan and NFL legend, Peyton Manning.
