Ayda Field Williams has now established herself as an integral member of the brand new judging panel on The X Factor. Along with her husband, Robbie Williams, Ayda joins One Direction star Louis Tomlinson and showbiz guru Simon Cowell in the chairs.
Ayda Field was first rumoured to be joining the panel of The X Factor in June 2018, after The Mirror reported that the actress could be set to join the panel alongside her husband in a reported joint £10 million deal.
A source told the publication, "She thinks doing the show with Robbie will be a lot of fun – particularly as she wants to beat her husband at his own game. She can’t wait to get started."

Why is Ayda Field a judge on The X Factor?
Ayda Field started out her career as an actress on American sitcom Days Of Our Lives, and has since had many comedic roles on other US TV shows. When asked by RadioTimes.com why she was a judge when she doesn't have any music experience, Ayda said, "I’m here to find some great talent and make some great TV. So that’s really my focus.
"I want to help someone achieve their dreams, so whatever someone wants to say, that makes it more exciting because if it wasn’t a challenge it wouldn’t be much fun. So I’m excited to be the underdog and show the boys how it’s done!"
Which category does Ayda Field Williams have on The X Factor?
Ayda Field Williams has the Overs category, and is currently mentoring her final contestants in the live shows. Giovanni Spano and and Danny Tetley are still in the running, but Olatunji Yearwood and Janice Robinson have unfortunately been sent home.
Is Ayda Field Williams married to Robbie Williams?
Ayda, who is also on the Loose Women panel, has been married to former Take That star Robbie since 2009 after being introduced by a friend in 2006. Ayda Field and Robbie Williams' baby Colette 'Coco' who was born via a surrogate in September 2018 after a secret pregnancy, and they are also parents to five-year-old daughter Theodora 'Teddy' and three-year-old Charlton.
Ayda and Robbie became the first married couple to ever be on the judging panel together in the show's 14-year history.
But Robbie wouldn't be the first Take That star to sit on the panel, following in the footsteps of his bandmate Gary Barlow, who replaced Simon Cowell as head judge in 2011 to 2013.
