When does My Mum, Your Dad start?
Airing on ITV/STV and ITVX/STV Player, My Mum, Your Dad will begin on Monday 11th September at 9pm.
The new series, hosted by Davina McCall, will run every night for two weeks.
Despite being previously dubbed 'middle-aged Love Island', the show has now evolved into a brand new concept, with My Mum, Your Dad following a group of single parents who have been nominated for the show by their kids.
Filmed in a stunning country house retreat, the objective is to find love, but in a huge twist, the kids will be watching their parents' every move in 'The Bunker', unbeknownst to them. Within The Bunker, the kids will get the opportunity to play matchmaker and decide their mum or dad's dating fate.
Speaking about the exciting new show, Davina said: "So everybody in there is in what you would call midlife, I would say, ranging from mid-40s up to late 50s. Everybody is in there because they want a second chance at love. They want to find somebody. I think what you are looking for is very different when you are in mid-life. When you've been through relationships, perhaps have had kids, they have grown up and the things that you are seeking are different in terms of companionship and chemistry."
Davina also spoke about the show's comparisons with Love Island, saying: "I totally get the comparisons - and I have inadvertently called it this myself - but it's really not the same show.
"The music, the setting, the grown-up kids being involved in their parents' love lives, it's very different. Once viewers see the show they’ll see how different it is. Love Island is great, I watch it with my kids, but this is a totally different show and there is room for both."
My Mum, Your Dad begins on Monday 11th September at 9pm.
