Rewind back to the beginning of June and the nation felt completely sorry for Dr Alex George after he struggled to find love on hit ITV2 show Love Island. However, fast-forward to today, just four days before the final, and viewers are fuming at him for his behaviour towards fellow Islander Alexandra Cane.
On last night's show (26th July), Alex and Alexandra enjoyed their final date as car enthusiastic Alex drove a super car around the stunning Mallorca hills. But after it seemed like he had more fun with the car than he did with his date, Alex vented his feelings to both Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer.
After telling his fellow Islanders he thinks Alexandra wants to move their relationship on too fast, Alex admitted he's not an affectionate person, something that Alexandra previously said she wanted from a man.
She told Jack earlier in the day, “I’m really affectionate. I know he’s compromised so much from how he was in the beginning to how he is now, I know that’s such a huge difference. I don’t want to ask anymore of him because I know he’s come such a long way. But at the same time, I can’t help how I feel. We’ve had nights where we’ve been really kissy and cuddly and then we’ve had some nights where we don’t even say ‘good night’. I don’t know if it’s because he’s holding back. Maybe he doesn’t feel as strongly about me, maybe he’s unsure, maybe he doesn’t want to move too fast. I don’t want to put pressure on him because I know he is the way he is and I don’t want to scare him away.”

However, after realising they'd made the wrong decision, both Georgia and Sam refused to recouple with anybody else and were therefore dumped from the villa one week before the final.

Despite the dumping, it wasn't all bad news on last night's episode. After their early morning hot air balloon date, Jack and Dani melted our hearts even more when they agreed to move in together when they leave the villa.
And it seems Kaz has caught major feelings for Josh as she told the rest of the girls that she 'loves' him. She said, “I just know. I know that I love him. Obviously I need to tell him. But it can make you very vulnerable and I don’t want to rush things with Josh.”
