Jesy Nelson 'in talks' to join cast of TOWIE
She's putting her music career on hold
Following her Disney+ docu-series Life After Little Mix earlier this year, it sounds like Jesy Nelson has an appetite for TV, as reports are rife she's about to join a major reality show.
According to The Sun, Jesy, who is a mum to her twin girls Ocean and Story, is in talks to join the cast of The Only Way Is Essex.
A source told the publication: āItās a total natural fit.
āJesy is from Essex and knows a lot of the cast anyway so itās not going to feel forced. Sheās been talking a lot to Lauren (Goodyer) and Amy (Childs) in particular so itās likely sheāll be a part of their glam mums group.
āWhile nothing is confirmed yet, to even have Jesy in talks for the show is a huge deal for Towie.
āSheās an internationally famous Essex girl who was part of one of the worldās most successful girl groups ā to say theyāre excited would be an understatement.ā
According to the publication, Jesy is good friends with both Lauren Goodyer and Amy Childs, and is meeting with the TOWIE crew in the coming weeks to discuss possibilities to appear on the show.

After welcoming her twins in May last year, Jesy has been campaigning for screening for Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), after they were diagnosed with it.
Earlier this week MPs in England debated Jesy's petition, which more than 150,00 people signed.
However, taking to Instagram to share an update, Jesy revealed she felt 'let down' and 'disgusted' at the decision to only partially roll out the screening programme in England.
She wrote on Instagram: 'The outcome wasnāt what we hoped for. I feel deeply let down and disgusted that we are still choosing to let future Sma babies suffer with this awful disease, when this doesnāt need to be the case! But I will keep on fighting until one day no future Sma baby will miss the opportunity to get screened from birth and given life changing treatment just because of where they live š'. (sic)
In another video, Jesy described the decision further, saying: 'Yesterday, MPs debated my petition after more than 150,000 people signed in support of newborn screening for SMA.
'Thank you to everyone who signed, shared and supported this campaign. Every single action helped bring this issue into Parliament and gave families affected by SMA a voice.
'Weāve already achieved incredible progress: newborn screening for SMA is due to begin in October, giving babies the chance of earlier diagnosis, earlier treatment and a healthier future.
'However, only 72% of babies in England will initially be covered. That means a babyās access to life-changing treatment could still depend on where theyāre born, and that simply isnāt fair.
'Every baby deserves the same chance, regardless of their postcode.
'Iām now calling on James Murray MP, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, and Sharon Hodgson MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Public Health and Prevention, to provide a clear timeline for when newborn SMA screening will reach 100% coverage across England and Iād welcome the opportunity to meet with ministers alongside SMA families to discuss the rollout and concerns raised during the debate.
'Early diagnosis saves lives, prevents irreversible damage and gives children the best possible start. No parent should ever wonder if their child missed that chance simply because of where they were born.
'Every baby deserves the same chance. Every life mattersā¤ļø'. (sic)
