Celeb Race Across The World viewers are loving Jeff and Freddy's relationship

Following the success of the show in recent years, it's understandable that fans of Race Across The World were thrilled when the second celebrity edition kicked off on Wednesday 14th August, with Kelly Brook, Jeff Brazier, Scott Mills and Kola Bokinni all taking part.
The opening episode saw this year's pairs all meet at the starting point in Belém, Northern Brazil - the gateway to the Amazon, with Kelly alongside her husband Jeremy, Jeff alongside his youngest son Freddy, Scott alongside his husband Sam, and Kola alongside his cousin Mary-Ellen.
After learning of the first checkpoint location in beach town Canoa Quebrada, the pairs all devised a plan, with Kelly and Jeremy, Jeff and Freddy, and Scott and Sam all deciding to take the cheaper rural route, whilst Kola and Mary-Ellen chose to live their best lives and blow the budget on the coastal route.
Whilst all four pairs had their ups and downs during the first leg of the journey, it was the relationship between 45-year-old Jeff and his 19-year-old son Freddy which really melted the hearts of viewers.
After hearing the father-and-son duo's reasons for taking part, with Jeff admitting he wanted to spend more time with the teenager, viewers were quick to take to social media to praise their strong relationship.
One wrote: 'Jeff and Freddy are already melting my heart #CelebrityRaceAcrossTheWorld', with another writing: 'Not even a half an hour into #CelebrityRaceAcrossTheWorld and we all want Jeff and Freddy to win right?'.
A third added: 'Freddy has my heart ❤️❤️. Jeff is the best dad. He's raised Freddy & Bobby well. #CelebrityRaceAcrossTheWorld #RaceAcrossTheWorld'. (sic)
Another viewer commented: '@JeffBrazier has an incredible relationship with his children, it was great to see him & Freddie together'. (sic)

Despite finding themselves in a predicament, being forced to walk into rural land to find a taxi, Jeff and Freddy managed to get to the first checkpoint in Canoa Quebrada in third place.
After allowing her husband Jeremy to plan the route following the first two days, Kelly was the first celebrity to sign the book, with Scott and Sam coming in second. And despite having a fun adventure and taking in the country's beautiful coastal sites, unfortunately for Kola and Mary-Ellen, this resulted in them arriving at the first checkpoint in last place.
