I'm A Celeb start date 'set to move' due to scheduling conflict
The show will return later this year
Despite the UK still being in the height of summer, with heatwaves up and down the country, it won't be too long before attention turns to the new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, which is due to begin in November.
With rumours heating up about which celebs will take part this year, reports are now rife that ITV/STV bosses are being forced to move the start date, due to a conflict in the schedule.
When does I'm A Celeb start?
According to The Sun, the new series will be delayed by one day due to ITV/STV broadcasting the UEFA Nations League.
The football tournament, which first kicks off in September, will see England play Spain on Sunday 15th November, the date I'm A Celeb was reportedly set to launch.
The publication is now reporting the new start date will be Monday 16th November, in its usual 9pm slot.
A source said: “I’m A Celeb has always benefited from the Sunday night prime-time slot, but this year it’s all change. Now ITV has the rights to the UEFA Nations League bosses have had to go back to the drawing board.
