It was dubbed** as Winter Love Island, and brand new ITV2 reality show Survival Of The Fittest** kicked off on TV screens last night.
As six boys and six girls entered the South African savannah, the battles started, with the first challenge involving a tough looking assault course.
But things didn't quite go to plan when Danny Dyer's daughter Dani fell and picked up a nasty shoulder injury. Unable to carry on, medics were quick to take Dani away, with fears she'd dislocated her shoulder.
After the incident, a spokesperson for ITV said, "Dani injured her shoulder during the recording of a challenge. She was attended to by on site medics and taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
"As Survival Of The Fittest involves physical challenges which she wouldn't be able to take part in, Dani isn't in a position to be able to return to The Lodge and will therefore leave the show."
Speaking about her exit, Dani said, "For medical reasons, I can't take part in any of the challenges because I am no use in a sling.
"I will just be sitting around and not be able to compete and I'm not meant to move my arm for a week so it wouldn't be fair and there is just no point. I'll just be an extra spare part if I carry on like this.
"I haven't stopped training since Christmas. I've been dieting. I did Tough Mudder last year and I didn't even hurt myself then. I've been constantly training up until now and now I've gone and dislocated my shoulder. It is what it is I suppose."
Earlier on in the opening episode, Dani was dubbed Survival Of The Fittest's Marcel Sommerville after she immediately told one of her fellow cast mates about her famous dad.
Viewers took to Twitter to express their humour at the similar situation...
Despite his daughter's unfortunate exit from the reality show, it seems EastEnders actor Danny is glad to have his daughter back.
Taking to Instagram to share a photo of the pair together, Danny wrote, 'Live and Let Live baby girl. Taken out by a b------- slide. Don’t think my heart could have taken another 3 weeks of that caper. #proud' sic

Despite most Love Island fans tuning into last night's launch show, it seems they are still unsure at the concept of the programme, with many admitting they were 'confused'.
Despite the negativity, it seems viewers are willing to give the show a chance, with many admitting it will 'fill a gap' before Love Island returns in the summer.
Survival Of The Fittest continues every night on ITV2.
