Dua Lipa and Griff perform at The BRIT Awards 2021

After being crowned the winner of this year's Rising Star Award, singer-songwriter Griff was announced to perform at The BRIT Awards 2021 with Mastercard! Her performance announcement came hand in hand with that of 'Levitating' singer Dua Lipa, who also took to the stage on the night, taking place at London's O2 on Tuesday May 11th 2021.
Speaking ahead of her performance, Dua said: "I am so excited to be returning to perform for you all at The BRITs this year. It’s going to be truly special to be back on stage in the UK.”
Griff, who was crowned the Rising Star 2021 winner ahead of Pa Salieu and Rina Sawayama, added: "Guys, pray for me!! I’m going to be in a room full of the biggest and best artists in the world, singing my little heart out. I can’t wait!!!!”

After Coldplay opened the show from a pontoon on the Thames with a performance of their new single 'Higher Power', Dua immediately took over, performing a London Underground-inspired medley of 'Levitating', 'Love Again', 'Physical', 'Pretty Please', 'Hallucinate', 'Boys Will Be Boys', 'Don't Start Now' and 'Future Nostalgia'.

Rising Star Griff performed later in the show, giving a stunning rendition of her huge hit 'Black Hole' which included her looping vocals for a backing track right there and then!
After bosses made the decision to postpone The BRIT Awards ceremony back in February this year, it was revealed that the prestigious gig would be going ahead in May, with Jack Whitehall back to present the show on Tuesday 11th.
Confirming the news that he'd be back for a fourth year, Jack said: "I must be doing something right to be invited back to host the BRITs! After the events of the past year, I think we can all do with a big night of music and entertainment, and I'm excited to be part of the show on 11th May.”
