Some of this year's biggest stars of Love Island including Alexandra Cane, Rosie Williams, Laura Crane, Jack Fowler, Samira Mighty and Alex Miller have pledged their support to Tay FM Where's You Head At? campaign.
The former Islanders have bravely opened up about their struggles with mental health in the past, and revealed all about some of the darkest moments in their lives. Speaking to Tay FM, Alexandra Cane said, "I have struggled with admitting to myself that I've been stressed. I try to hold things in quite a lot and I just blow. So, yeah I definitely think you should be able to talk about things a lot easier."
Rosie, who was harshly dumped by Adam Collard in the villa, also added, "I tend to struggle speaking to people about my problems. I always think that someone has a bigger problem than mine, so why do I need to complain about my own problems."
The Islanders also gave some amazing advice on how to deal with mental health issues.
Where’s Your Head At? is a campaign that will improve the mental health of the nation by ensuring employers look after the wellbeing of their workforce. We want to make it easy for you to talk about your mental health at work, by ensuring that there are trained colleagues on-site who know how to point you in the direction of any help you might need.
We need YOUR help to make it a legal requirement to have a trained mental health first aider in every workplace or college. Please sign the petition at wheresyourheadat.org and use the hashtag #WheresYourHeadAt to support the campaign.
The 2018 Love Island stars aren't the only celebrities to get involved in our Where's Your Head At? campaign. Last year's winner Kem Cetinay, boyband The Vamps and former TOWIE star Megan McKenna have all pledged their support.
