Gary Lucy confirms gender of baby with Laura Anderson
Laura has so far remained silent
It's fair to say there's been a great deal of drama surrounding the relationship of former Love Island star Laura Anderson and actor Gary Lucy, after the pair split up not long after finding out they were expecting a baby together.
Although it had initially looked like the pair were amicable following their split, things seemingly took a sour turn in mid-February, when Laura deleted all trace of Gary from her social media, and removed his name from her baby post.
And after revealing to fans she's "definitely not" on good terms with Gary last month, more details about the couple's unborn baby have now emerged.
What is the gender of Laura Anderson and Gary Lucy's baby?
Although Laura has so far kept the gender of her baby a secret, on Thursday 23rd March, Gary revealed to fans she's expecting a baby girl.
Sharing a clip art saying 'Daddy's Girl' alongside the baby scan, the former Hollyoaks actor wrote: 'Thanks for all the lovely messages from everyone… so excited to meet my little baby bear soon!'.
Gary then wrote: 'For every that's ben asking... Let's hope she inherits her mummy's looks'. (sic)
Speaking during a Q&A with fans on Instagram last month, Laura revealed to fans she already knew the gender of her baby, after doing an eight week DNA test.
She said: "So I already know the sex, I did the eight week DNA test. I definitely will share it with you guys, I just don't know when at the minute. It's really exciting, it's really nice, and I keep slipping up so I need to be careful."
The Love Island 2018 star also opened up about the reasons she split from Gary, after the pair met on Celebs Go Dating in 2022.
Clearing up rumours in the press, she said: "I really don't want to get into this, there's loads of reasons you know, the truth always come out in the end, whatever. But I did DEFINITLY NOT tell Gary to move to Scotland."
She then added: "We agreed to announce the pregnancy together and he wanted to be involved in the video, but he didn't share it that day, which was difficult. Then that evening in the press he said that we'd broken up, even though he'd told me not to tell anyone we'd broken up quite a while before that."
