They seemed to be a match made in Love Island heaven when they were crowned the champions of series three in 2017, but just months later fans were left devastated when Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies announced their split.

Blaming their 'busy work schedules' at the time, both Kem and Amber have been linked to other people, with reports suggesting Amber was dating Diversity star Perri Kiely at the end of last year.

But now, it looks like both are very much single and Kem has delighted fans by hinting at a REUNION!!!

Speaking ahead of the Dancing On Ice launch show on Sunday, where he is a backstage reporter, Kem said, “Amber and I are actually on really good terms now. We’ve been speaking a bit recently. For the first ever we’ve been able to message and be friendly – finally there’s no bitterness at all.

“I know I’ve said a lot of times that we’ve got on but the honest truth is this is the first time now we genuinely are in a good place with each other.”

Asked whether he thinks there is a future with Amber, Kem said, "A lot has happened and we both only have nice things to say about to each other – you never know. Never say never.”

WE HOPE SO! 🤞

It was way back in December 2017 when the pair first announced they'd split, with Kem saying at the time, “With sadness, we’ve decided to separate. We fell in love in the villa and want to thank all the fans of the show for supporting us. We still have a lot of love for each other and will remain good friends."

See which Love Island couples are still together:

Series Two: Nathan Massey and Cara de la Hoyde

Nathan Massey and Cara de la Hoyde are the only Love Island winners to have remained together.

Despite splitting for a number of months in 2017, the couple rekindled their romance when Cara discovered she was expecting the couple's first child.

Series Three: Dom Lever and Jess Shears

Despite the public thinking their relationship was just a 'joke', Jess Shears and Dom Lever have defied the odds and are one of the two couples still together from their series.

Despite all of the drama with Jess and 'Muggy Mike', Dom proposed to his girlfriend in September 2016.

The couple have cashed in on promotional shoots together, appearances, and even got 'married' on Good Morning Britain on Valentine's Day.

Despite the 'fake wedding', Jess and Dom then tied the knot for real in 2018, when they married at a private ceremony on the Greek island of Mykonos. In October 2019, they welcomed a child together.

Series Three: Jamie Jewitt and Camilla Thurlow

The nation fell in love with Prince Harry's ex-girlfriend Camilla Thurlow in 2017. And, after she had her heart broken by a number of different men in the villa, model Jamie Jewitt arrived and swept Camilla off her feet.

After enjoying time together outside of the show and meeting each other's families, the couple are living happily ever after.
