Get ready sisters! A stage musical adaptation of Disney's iconic film Hocus Pocus is currently in development!

The adaptation was mentioned by the original film's creator David Kirschner in an interview on the Broadway Podcast network's 'The Art of Kindness' ahead of the release of Hocus Pocus 2.

During the interview, David said they were building a Broadway musical of the show but didn't divulge in any further details such as when we could expect to see the Sanderson sisters on stage.

Hocus Pocus was first released by Disney in 1993 and has become a cult hit. Despite not really being a musical it did include an iconic rendition of 'I Put a Spell on You' by Bette Middler's character, Winifred Sanderson.

Three decades later the film is finally getting a sequel, Hocus Pocus 2 is now streaming on Disney+.
