Sam Fender will be on Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway this weekend
For The End of the Show Show
Fresh from his success at The BRIT Awards, Geordie lad Sam Fender will appear on Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway this weekend, on Saturday 12th March!
Sam, famous for his hits 'Seventeen Going Under' and 'Hypersonic Missiles', will appear during the now iconic End of the Show Show, alongside hosts Ant & Dec.
The news was announced via the show's social media accounts, with bosses confirming Sam will perform WITH Ant and Dec.
The post read: 'One more Geordie lad to add to this week's End Of The Show Show! Catch @sam_fender performing live with @antanddec this Saturday 🤩 🙌 #SaturdayNightTakeaway'. (sic)
Fans of both the show and Sam were clearly hyped at the news. One wrote: 'Can’t wait for this one 🔥🚀', with another adding: 'Was so happy when I heard he was going to be on the show! I love Geordie’s teaming up haha'. (sic)
A third wrote: 'Yessss Can’t wait to watch', with a fourth commenting: 'YAAASSS SO EXCITED FOR THIS 😃'. (sic)
After performing small gigs in his hometown of North Shields, Sam turned into a household name across the country after being spotted by Ben Howard's manager.
The 27-year-old went on to release his EP 'Dead Boys' in 2018, before dropping his debut album 'Hypersonic Missiles' in September 2019. After hitting Number 1 with the album and gaining even more of a following, Sam released his second album 'Seventeen Going Under' in October last year.
Meanwhile, as well as performing at The BRIT Awards last month, Sam also picked up the award for Best Rock/Alternative Act.
