Love Island viewers heartbroken for Hugo as nobody chooses him in task

We are now nearly two weeks into the 2021 series of Love Island, and despite a slow start, things are really starting to heat up, mainly down to the latest bombshells arriving into the villa.
On last night's extended show, viewers witnessed the genius game of 'Line of Booty', where the girls had to pick a boy to kiss before sending them to 'jail'...
But despite the likes of Brad McClelland and Toby Aromolaran being popular choices in the task, Hugo Hammond was left standing alone, as the only boy the girls didn't choose to kiss.
As you are probably aware, Hugo is currently coupled up with Chloe Burrows on a friendship basis and he's not yet made any connections with any of the other girls.
That doesn't mean viewer's hearts weren't breaking for the 24-year-old P.E. teacher when he was left humiliated on the sidelines.
One wrote on Twitter: 'ARE THESE GIRLS ACTUALLY BLIND HUGOS THE BEST MAN IN THE VILLA AND HES GETTING TREATED LIKE S--T I FEEL SO BAD FOR HIM :( #LoveIsland'. (sic)
Another added: 'Love Island actually breaking my heart here… Hugo deserves better #loveisland', with another adding: 'Poor Hugo being left alone when he is the only man with a single redeemable feature. GALS what are you doing #LoveIsland'. (sic)
A fourth annoyed fan wrote: 'Me ringing the producers to send someone in for Hugo ASAP, this challenge hurt my HEART #LoveIsland'. (sic)
It's not been the easiest week for poor Hugo. Earlier in the week he was left crying when Sharon Gaffka and Faye Winter accused him of being 'fake' for admitting his biggest turn off is girls who've had cosmetic surgery.

Meanwhile, following last night's explosive episode, which also featured a heated argument between Chloe and Faye, Toby seemingly pied off Kaz after Chloe made her feelings for the semi-pro footballer clear.
After his awkward chat with Kaz, Toby pulled Chloe for a chat where the pair didn't waste any time sharing yet another kiss.
Love Island voice-over Iain Sterling also revealed at the end of the show that a brand new bombshell will arrive tonight, in the form of 26-year-old Teddy Soares from Manchester.
Love Island continues every night at 9pm on ITV2.
