Ed Sheeran, Liam Gallagher and Ozzy & Sharon Osbourne announced for Stand Up To Cancer Gogglebox special
This is exciting
The latest round of celebrities has been announced for the Stand Up To Cancer special of Gogglebox and it's an exciting line-up.
Ed Sheeran, Liam Gallagher and Ozzy & Sharon Osbourne will join the special show which has already announced Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.
Speaking about his involvement with the Googlebox special Ed said, "I'm such a huge fan of Gogglebox so it's going to be weirdly surreal to actually be part of it with two of my closest friends but when it's for an incredible cause like Stand Up to Cancer, how could we say no?"
Meanwhile former Oasis singer Liam Gallagher will be joined by his mum Peggy and 16-year-old son Gene. He is also very excited about the prospect of being involved with the show. The singer who previously surprised fans by admitting he was a Love Island fan said, "It's an honour and privilege to be invited on one of my favourite TV shows, the mighty Gogglebox, especially with my fam and for such a great cause as Stand Up to Cancer." sic
This Googlebox special will also see W1A star Jessica Hynes join Jeremy Corbyn on the sofa, with singer Example and Big Narstie joining Ed Sheeran.
In previous years Googlebox Stand Up To Cancer specials have seen Noel Gallagher joined by models Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell when they famously talked about crisps.
This year Stand Up to Cancer will also feature Celebrity Hunted, starring Spencer Matthews and members of The Wanted. Meanwhile leader of the Scottish Conservatives Ruth Davidson will appear in special of The Great British Bake Off.
Celebrity Gogglebox will be on Channel 4 this Friday 3rd November.
