It's been a while since we've heard any new music from former The X Factor contestant, Olly Murs, but now he has surprised everyone by announcing he'll be dropping a brand new single THIS FRIDAY! Not only will Olly's new single be a collaboration, it will be with the rap legend Snoop Dogg, known for his hits 'Wet' and 'Signs' featuring Justin Timberlake and Charlie Wilson.

Along with announcing his collab, Olly has confirmed the name of the new song is 'Moves', and has even given us a sneak peak of what to expect. After listening to the 20-second clip of the song, there's no doubt that there's pure pop at its heart, as you'd expect from the 'Dear Darlin' singer. And of course, your favourite radio station, Northsound 1, will be playing it from Friday 28th September.

Penned by none other than Ed Sheeran along with Steve Mac, 'Moves' is bound to be a quick hit with fans and many have already taken to social media after hearing the short clip.

One fan said, 'Honestly is there anything better than having ur headphones in ur ear and listening to the first snippet of a new song by your fave? I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE WHOLE SONG', another fan commented, 'Sounds amazing! Can’t wait to hear it!!🙌🏻'. sic

We're only a few days away from the new song, as Olly has announced it will drop on the 28th September.

'Moves' will be the first new music from Olly Murs since he released 'Unpredictable' with Louisa Johnson in 2017. The tense music video for 'Unpredictable' saw Olly and Louisa battle it out on a tennis court.

Filmed on location in Los Angeles, the video included some iconic moments that any tennis fan will be familiar with, including the moment a streaker runs across the tennis court and a 'McEnroe moment'.

Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran, who co-wrote Olly's new single, has just announced he will be performing in two UK locations next year! The 'Shape of You' singer will be doing homecoming shows in Leeds and Ipswich.
