Sigala, whose real name is Bruce Fielder, is known having worked with the likes of Paloma Faith, John Newman and DJ Fresh - but he has revealed in a recent interview where his moniker, Sigala, comes from and that it is actually a family name!
"It was like an old family name, my great-great-grandfather...it was his last name," the DJ explained. "My mum told me about him, and his name was Amos Sigala, and I was like 'that's a cool name', so I just kind of remembered it."
Sigala then went on to talk about the musical instruments he can play, admitting he'll "pick up a guitar every now and then," going on to explain how he can just play one note and then move it around on a computer!
He also revealed that there was a large group of people involved with his hit song, 'Lullaby' featuring Paloma Faith, including Jess Glynne! The upbeat track was accompanied by a music video which shows Paloma belting out her vocals, whilst sitting on a very fancy-looking bed and a number of talented dancers perform in a sunny looking beach location.
Sigala is a 25-year-old British DJ, and burst onto the scene in 2015 with his single ‘Easy Love’ which features a sample from ‘ABC’ by the Jackson 5. Last month, he dropped his brand new song 'Feels Like Home', featuring Fuse ODG, Sean Paul and Kent Jones.
