I'm A Celeb: South Africa final voting figures revealed

During one of the most tense live TV show finals of all time, it was Waterloo Road actor Adam Thomas who was crowned the latest I'm A Celeb Legend, after the public voted him to be the winner of I'm A Celeb: South Africa.
Adam, who was embroiled in drama with fellow camp mates David Haye and Jimmy Bullard, was crowned the winner ahead of finalists Sir Mo Farah, Harry Redknapp and Craig Charles, and now the official voting figures have been released.
During the first vote, which featured all four finalists, Adam picked up 51%, with Sir Mo receiving 32%, Harry getting 9%, and Craig receiving 8%.
After Ant and Dec announced Craig in fourth place, the vote reopened, with Adam receiving a whopping 58% of the vote to win. Runner-up Sir Mo had 38%, with third place Harry getting 10%.
After noticing Adam appeared dejected during the show, despite his win, which was overshadowed by final-round drama, fans quickly took to social media to share their support.
One wrote: 'Hopefully Adam will now feel worthy 🔥👏', with another adding: 'I voted for Adam because he seems like a genuinely nice guy. He got stuck into the trials and was lovely to Gemma. I did not give him a sympathy vote he earned it. David and jimmy just showed themselves up'. (sic)
A third commented: 'Adam stormed it! Well deserved'. (sic)
Following the tense final, which saw hosts Ant and Dec get a little heated with Jimmy and David, Adam took to social media to express his thoughts.
He wrote: 'I walked through this journey with my heart first, no matter what came my way…It was not always easy, there were moments that could have broken me, but I stayed true to myself and that is something I will always be proud of.
'I have realised that when people try to dim your light, it says more about them than it ever will about you.
'This experience has shown me my strength in ways I never imagined. Not because of any title or recognition, but because I stayed kind, I stayed grounded and I stayed real.
'Family means everything to me, and there is one person who has been my rock through it all. Happy birthday to my Beautiful wife, you have stood by me when things were tough and reminded me of my strength when I needed it most. I would not be who I am without you.
'To everyone who supported me, who believed in me and showed love, thank you, it means more than I can ever put into words.
'And to those who doubted me or tried to bring me down, I carry no negativity towards you. I have already won in the ways that matter most. I have love, I have happiness and I have stayed true to myself, and that is something no one can ever take away from me.
'I hope one day you can do the same ❤️'. (sic)
