Gigi Hadid shows off blossoming baby bump for the first time 👶
She's expecting her first child with Zayn Malik
Fans were thrown into a frenzy earlier this year when it was revealed former One Direction singer Zayn Malik and American model Gigi Hadid were expecting their first child together.
And despite Gigi confirming her pregnancy news during an appearance on The Jimmy Fallon Show back in May, the pair have remained silent on the matter, with Gigi deciding not to talk about her pregnancy on social media.
However, that all changed last night when the Victoria's Secret model took part in a live Instagram video, where she gave fans a glimpse of her growing bump.
Whilst promoting her 'Gigi Journal Part II' with V Magazine, the 25-year-old had her shirt unbuttoned at the bottom due to the heat in Pennsylvania, showing off her blossoming bump.
She said, "I have been taking a lot of pictures of my bump and sending them to my friends and family, and it's been really cute and exciting I have been trying to document it because people are saying don't miss it."
Revealing why she's decided not to publicly document her pregnancy journey, Gigi added, "Right now I just want to experience it and I write in my journal a lot and I just don't want to worry about waking up every day and look cute and post something.
"A lot of people are confused by why I am not sharing more but I am pregnant through a pandemic, obviously my pregnancy is not the most important thing going on in the world, that's in part why I didn't feel a need to share, apart from with my family and friends.
"Obviously a lot of people have lost lives due to Coronavirus - that was in the beginning of quarantining and it's still happening - and then me moved into obviously the re-emergence of the BLM movement and I thought our presence on social media should be used for that."
After reports got out into the media that the pair were expecting their first child, Gigi later told Jimmy Fallon, "Obviously, we wished we could have announced it on our own terms but we're very excited and happy and grateful for everyone's well wishes and support."
