First trailer released for Race Across the World series 6

So far there's been five series and three celebrity editions of BBC entertainment show Race Across The World, and it seems it's not stopping any time soon! As well as being renewed for a sixth series, applications are also now open for series seven!
Ahead of the sixth series hitting our screens, the BBC has now shared the first teaser trailer, as the five pairs race from the familiarities of Europe all the way to the uncharted edges of Mongolia.

When is it on TV?
There's no exact start date just yet, but bosses have now teased series six is 'coming soon'.
Series five kicked off on Wednesday 23rd April 2025, so we suspect it will follow a similar pattern.
Is there a trailer?
Yes! The first teaser trailer for Race Across The World series six was released on Sunday 15th March. The 40-second clip is captioned with 'No flights. No phones. No safety net... Let the race begin. 🗺️', showing snippets of this year's pairs racing across the world.

What is the route?
Although full details of the route haven't yet been announced, we do know this year's teams will travel from east-to-west, from the familiarities of Europe all the way to Mongolia.
Who are the contestants?
Details about this year's pairs haven't been revealed, but fans do get a snippet of them in the new trailer.
How many episodes?
Series six will include six episodes. It's not yet known if there will be a reunion show, something which was introduced for the fifth series in 2025.
What is the prize?
The winning pair will win a cash prize of £20,000.
How do I apply?
Applications for the sixth series of Race Across The World are now closed, but bosses are now looking for contestants for the seventh series.
