Gary Barlow has opened up about his time in Take That, in a recent interview set to be aired during a Christmas special of Lorraine on Christmas Day.

The singer is known as an amazing solo artist, with songs such as 'Let Me Go' and 'Love Won't Wait', as well being a member of one of the biggest bands around, Take That. Now, in this Christmas special he's revealed his biggest regrets from his time as part of the band, which formed back in 1990.

Opening up to long-time friend Ross King, Gary said he was the worrier in the group, going on to explain: "Everyone always has their different role and I was the worrier. It’s my only regret looking back, is that I wish I was in the moment more.

"I’m always thinking about tomorrow... what do we do next year? Big plans? Always planning ahead, and I don't ever really enjoy the moment."

The 'These Days' singer continued: "It’s been a terrific year this year, and I actually count every year that I’m still able to do this, as a magnificent year.

"If you’d have asked me 30 years ago how long is this gonna last for, I couldn't have dreamed it would have spanned all these years. These last couple of years I’ve had time and I’ve looked back a lot and been like ‘this has been amazing’.

"It’s made me appreciate it more than I’ve ever appreciated it."

While Gary has had another great year, it looks like 2023 is also going to be super busy one for the singer. He's already confirmed that Take That will be working on their ninth album, the musical based on Take That, Greatest Days will be going on a UK tour and the band will be performing at BST Hyde Park.

Also on the show will be Craig David doing a festive performance! 🎄

Watch Lorraine on Christmas Day from 9am on ITV1 & ITVX, where she will also be joined by Jonathan Ross, Ant and Dec, Giovanna Fletcher, Adrian Dunbar and many more.
