A potential art piece by renowned graffiti artist Banksy has appeared inspired by a 'mooning' incident with a speed camera.
The piece depicts cartoon character Bart Simpson exposing his buttocks to the viewer, whilst being beaten by two riot police officers.
Appearing in the town of Kidderminster, the art came in the wake of an incident involving mooning a speed camera van.
Terminally ill Darrell Meekcom bore his backside to the speed camera in Kidderminster as part of a bucket list he had drawn up. However, Mr Meekcom was arrested by police soon after 'mooning' the speed camera van.
In the wake of the incident, the 55-year-old said he was anonymously contacted by a representative of Banksy, who had expressed his interest in doing a piece based on the ordeal.
Mr Meekcom believes that the subsequent work was commissioned by Banksy. However, this has yet to be confirmed, as experts inspect to verify the piece is indeed of the graffiti artist.
Speaking to the BBC, Mr Meekcom said he enjoyed the piece and hopes that the piece will be protected.
"It is fantastic. It is so well thought out...it is basically descriptive, it is clever," he said.
