Former Love Island star turned multi-millionaire influencer Molly-Mae Hague picked up her first ever National Television Award on Wednesday 10th September, as her Prime Video docu-series Behind It All won in the Authored Documentary category.
The show, which has already been renewed for a second series, was up against There's Only One Rob Burrow, Flintoff, Strictly Amy: Cancer and Me, and Boyzone: No Matter What, but it was Molly's doc which received the most public votes, crowning her the winner.
Visibly in shock at her win, Molly went on to mention the 'inspirational people' she was nominated alongside, before revealing she was 'honoured' to even be nominated.
She said in her speech: "Oh my goodness. Honestly, just to be nominated for this award was such an honour. I think as you guys saw, we were up against some seriously inspirational people in this category.
"This team has been the reason why this experience has been so incredible for me, and I think with nights like tonight it's not just about the talent.
"It's about the people that make shows like these. I've learned so much, I feel like I could start my own production company at this point.
"And thank you to my own family who didn't choose this life of stardom but came on the show for me because they knew how much it meant to me.
"You're the best support system I could ask for. To Tommy and Bambi at home — I love you both so much."
Molly also dedicated the win to the late Rob Burrows and his wife Lindsay, she added: "To Lindsay, Rob Burrow’s wife and his children, his story was far more inspirational than mine could ever be. It was just incredible and touched me in more ways than I can explain. This one’s for you Rob, and to the other inspirational people in this category.”
Molly's Love Island BFF Maura Higgins looked proud as punch in the audience, whilst boyfriend Tommy Fury, who she reconciled with earlier this year, was at home looking after their two-year daughter Bambi.
Tommy did however publicly congratulate his girl, writing on Instagram: 'Words can't describe!!! So unbelievably proud of you. Well done. ❤️❤️❤️'. (sic)
Molly-Mae: Behind It All, which was released in two parts on Prime Video earlier this year, was originally meant to be a documentary alongside Tommy as the pair planned their wedding, after Tommy popped the question in July 2023.
However, following the pair's shock split last year, Molly signed a solo deal with Prime Video and the series documented the aftermath of their split, as well showing the business owner open her home to viewers, with an exclusive look at her life as an entrepreneur, influencer and mum.
Following the show's success, Prime Video have now renewed the show for a second series.
She shared the news on Instagram in early June, writing: 'My mood because it’s filming day ONE for SERIES 2!!! @primevideouk I can’t believe I’m saying this but because of all of your love and support with ‘Molly-Mae: behind it all’… we are coming BACK with another series! Pinch me 😭' (Sic)
