Start date confirmed for Married At First Sight UK
We don't have long to wait!
After Married At First Sight Australia was the highlight of most of our lockdowns, it's no surprise that fans were over the moon to hear bosses of the UK series were keen to replicate the format.
Although the UK version has been a little less dramatic in the the past, bosses have taken inspiration from the Aussies, with the cast for MAFS UK being unveiled at the start of the week.
As if that wasn't enough news for one week, E4 have now confirmed the start date for the hugely-anticipated new series, revealing Married At First Sight UK will air at 9pm on Monday 30th August.
Sharing a video of the seven new brides, E4 wrote on Twitter: 'It's time to meet the 7 brides of Married At First Sight UK! Will they be matched with the husband of their dreams? Married At First Sight UK – Starts August 30th Ring #MAFSUK'. (sic)
The news comes just days after bosses revealed 16 contestants for the upcoming series, seven girls and nine boys, including the show's first ever gay couple.

Relationship experts Melanie Schilling, Charlene Douglas and Paul C. Brunson will be putting their relationships under the microscope at weekly dinner parties and recurring commitment ceremonies, where couples choose whether they want to stay in or leave the process.
Finally, at the end of the series, the couples will have to decide whether to recommit to their partner or go their separate ways in a high-stakes vow renewal.
Married At First Sight UK starts on E4 on Monday 30th August.
