After three weeks, 17 episodes, and some serious memorable moments, ITV/STV's rebooted series of Celebrity Big Brother came to an end tonight (Friday 22nd March), during a live final with hosts AJ Ododu and Will Best.

Following the 'shock and cruel' backdoor eviction during Thursday (21st March) night's episode, which saw Heartstopper actor Bradley Riches leave via the Diary Room, Louis Walsh, David Potts, Fern Britton, Nikita Kuzmin, and Colston Smith all made it to the final day.

Who won Celebrity Big Brother?

Following a public vote, David Potts was crowned the 2024 winner of Celebrity Big Brother by hosts AJ and Will, much to his shock.

Check out the final placings below:

WINNER: David Potts

RUNNER-UP: Nikita Kuzmin

3RD PLACE: Colson Smith

4TH PLACE: Louis Walsh

5TH PLACE: Fern Britton

The episode saw the final five housemates saying their farewells to CBB. To help them celebrate, Big Brother set up a fancy dinner in the dining room, where the final five each reflected on their experiences.

Colson said: "The experience isn’t anything without the people and the housemates… this experience has kind of taught me to back myself, be kind to myself and be confident and be me…”

Fern added: "The most gracious, talented men I have ever known, and I want to thank you for the kindness you have shown me as the last woman standing… So, all that’s left to say is, may the best man win.”

Nikita said: “I didn’t expect to actually meet such fun people. I said to myself one thing is that I’m going to just be Nikita the way my mom would be proud of me and it’s very reassuring that people just liked me for me.”

Louis then added: “So here we are, the fab five… I came in here not knowing what to expect, but wow, it’s been a learning experience for me. You’ve been amazing to me, I appreciate it. We’re all winners as far as I’m concerned.”

David gushed: “I genuinely did not think I would be in a house with 12 people who I actually genuinely really, really liked… Thank you for letting me be me, I love you all. ”

As well as a second series of the civilian series already being confirmed for later in 2024, it's also understood ITV/STV bosses have commissioned Celebrity Big Brother for a second series, which will air in 2025.

This year's rebooted series saw some huge names enter the house, including Sharon Osbourne, who was a 'house guest' for the first eight days.

As well as Sharon and her old X Factor BFF Louis Walsh spilling the tea on celebs such as James Corden, Simon Cowell, Jedward, Cheryl Tweedy and Anna Wintour, Fern Britton also briefly discussed her 'beef' with former co-star Phillip Schofield.

The likes of Nikita, Bradley, Colson and David also formed a cute friendship in the house, whilst housemates Ekin-Su, Zeze and Marisha didn't always get along with one another.
