Selena Gomez Reveals The Reason Why She's Hasn't Released Her Album Yet

The singer has released 'It Ain't Me', 'Bad Liar', 'Fetish' and 'Wolves' all in the last year and late last year confirmed "there is an album" and "it will be out very soon". However, in a new interview with 13 Reasons Why's Katherine Langford for Harper's Bazaar, it may be longer than we expected.
Speaking about her career and her aspirations for 2018, she revealed: "I don’t really set goals ’cause I don’t want to be disappointed if I don’t reach them, but I do want to work on my music too. My next album has been forever in the making."
Gomez added: "When people ask me why, I’m honest about it: It’s because I haven’t been ready. I mean, point-blank, I don’t feel confident enough in where my music is yet. If that takes 10 years, then it takes 10 years. I don’t care."
While the thought of waiting 10 years for a new Selena album is painful (and an obvious exaggeration), we're sure she's taking time to make this project everything and more.
Previously, Selena shared that she had enough material for two full albums, but we can only assume it wasn't up to Gomez standards.
