Last updated 21st Oct 2024
Doja Cat certainly has a knack for making banging hits. The singing and rapping star has built a reputation for her unique blend of contemporary sounds, alongside her ability to create viral-ready music with mass appeal.
From bursting onto the scene with her unique track 'MOOO!', to her TikTok viral bop 'Say So', it's fair to say that Doja has an impressive catalogue of hit songs under her belt, as well as some truly iconic collabs. Now that the singer has released her fourth album 'Scarlet' and has new song 'MASC' - let's take a look at some of her biggest releases so far...
Doja Cat's most successful songs so far:
'Candy' (2018)
'Candy', taken from her debut album 'Amala', was her first solo charting song, peaking at 86 on the Billboard 100 chart. It was a sleeper hit, which picked up great traction after being shared frequently on TikTok, a platform that Doja has proven to hold in the palm of her hand.

'MOOO!' (2018)
The impact that 'Mooo!' had on the rest of her previous work's recognition cannot be understated. Whilst Doja considers the cow-loving meme track as a 'throwaway' and a 'joke,' it opened up a pathway for listeners to discover her previous, more serious work.

'Juicy' with Tyga (2019)
With more eyes on her, she released a deluxe edition of 'Amala', in January 2019. It included hits like 'Tia Tamera' featuring Rico Nasty and 'Juicy', a bouncy track that received the remix treatment from Tyga in August 2019. The 'Juicy' remix was Doja's very first official chart entry in the US, and at the time of writing is certified Gold in the UK. The remix's success even helped the commercial performance of the original track.

'Rules' (2019)
The 'Hot Pink' era saw Doja solidify her pop star status with a string of hits. She released hot singles that have since gone on to achieve Gold certification, like 'Rules' and 'Cyber Sex' - which were released in the lead up to her November 2019 sophomore album.
'Rules' was released as the third single from the album, and quickly went viral on Twitter following its drop. Paired with a popular music video, portraying Doja as the boss of a Cat Mafia gang in the desert, it's no surprise the track is now certified Platinum in the US and Silver in the UK.

'Say So' (2020)
'Hot Pink' was received well by both critics and fans, as it rose to 19 in the Billboard album chart within two weeks of its release. But it was the roaring success of Doja's funky smash 'Say So' that propelled the project to its peak of Number 9.
Initially, the track wasn't released as a single. But after a TikTok challenge emerged, with the likes of Dua Lipa taking part, the song gained a second wind, shooting up the charts to peak at Number 2.
'Say So' became a global hit, with foreign language translations in abundance and countless award show performances from Doja. Again proving why she is considered one of the most versatile upcoming stars, she gave a diverse range of renditions of the track, including a Broadway-themed production and a futuristic performance at the Grammys.

'Say So' (Remix) with Nicki Minaj (2020)
Then came Nicki Minaj. As if the original track wasn't gaining enough traction through social media - especially TikTok - The Queen of the Barbs provided the cherry on top, with a sleek remix that gave both artists their very first Number 1.
The collaborative remix even bagged the pair the Guinness World Record for First female rap duo to reach No. 1 on the US singles chart, in 2021.

'Streets' (2021)
It became increasingly clear that Doja was an artist ready for the mainstream spotlight. It seemed as if every song she released became a viral phenomenon. 'Streets,' another album track taken from 'Hot Pink' followed this trend, with the popular 'Silhouette Challenge' adopting the sultry R&B track as its theme song.
Boosted by the social media traction, 'Streets' was repackaged as a single with an official video paying homage to the TikTok challenge. Eventually peaking at Number 12 in the UK, it further displayed Doja's ability to make hit records, with the track now certified Platinum by the BPI.
