Pop princess Ariana Grande released her hugely anticipated new album 'Sweetener' today (Friday 17th August) and the singer has paid a truly beautiful tribute to the 22 people who tragically lost their lives after a terror attack after her concert at the Manchester Arena in 2017.

The singer, who has helped raised millions for the victims' families, previously admitted the last track on her album 'Get Well Soon' is about her mental health after the attack, and the song is 5.22 minutes long, which represents the date the attack happened. As well as this, Ariana has also added an additional 40 seconds of silence at the end of 'Sweetener', to honour the Manchester victims.

❤️❤️❤️

Of course, this isn't the first time Ariana has chosen to remember the 22 people who sadly lost their lives. When she released her comeback single 'No Tears Left To Cry' in April, the singer included a bee in her video, a symbol which is so strong for the people of Manchester.

The Manchester bee features at the end of Ariana's new four minute video, with the bee flying off into the sky.

22 people's lives were tragically cut short on 22nd May 2017. Victims from the night were Alison Howe, Angelika Klis, Chloe Rutherford, Eilidh MacLeod, Elaine McIver, Georgina Callander, Jane Tweddle, John Atkinson, Liam Curry, Lisa Lees, Marcin Klis, Kelly Brewster, Megan Hurley, Michelle Kiss, Nell Jones, Olivia Campbell-Hardy, Saffie Roussos, Sorrell Leczkowski, Wendy Fawell, Courtney Boyle, Philip Tron and Martyn Hett.

After the awful events, Ariana returned to Manchester for the One Love Manchester concert in June last year. Organising the event to raise money for the victims' families, Ariana and a whole host of other singers such as Little Mix, Justin Bieber and Robbie Williams all performed at the concert.
