Following the tragic events on the 22nd May 2017, when a bomb exploded outside the Manchester Arena killing 22 people and injuring many others, Ariana Grande had announced the One Love Manchester benefit concert.
All the money raised by the One Love Manchester concert will be donated to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund, which was set up by the Manchester City Council in partnership with the British Red Cross.

On the 30th May 2017 it was announced that Ariana Grande will be joined on stage by Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell Williams, Usher, Take That, Black Eyed Peas, Little Mix, Robbie Williams and Niall Horan.

It emerged in 2017 that One Direction singer Harry Styles surprised a 14-year-old fan with a phone call as she was recovering in hospital.
Since taking the call from Harry, Freya has been moved from Intensive Care to High Dependency, 'a massive positive step towards her recovery' according to her family.
