Disney are on a roll with remaking their classic animated films into live-action movies; and canine classic Lady and the Tramp has joined the list!

Whilst promoting the Disney streaming service Disney+, Walt Disney's direct to consumer chairman revealed a photo of a real-life Lady and the Tramp, showing the two main dogs.

Disney also took to their Twitter account to show off various features of the new streaming service, where fans again spotted the upcoming film's thumbnail.

Fans could barely contain their excitement, with one writing, 'Just take my money already. I’m ready!!!' sic.

The remake was released straight to Disney Plus in November 2019. Actor Thomas Mann opened up about what it was like working with real-life dogs on the project.

The upcoming project is reportedly being directed by Charlie Bean, produced by Bringham Taylor and written by Andrew Bujalski. It joins the list of other Disney movies that have been remade this year, including The Lion King, Aladdin and Dumbo.
