Paris Hilton surprises fans with news she's welcomed her first child

Huge congratulations are in order for Paris Hilton who has announced the arrival of a baby. The reality TV star, who has been married to Carter Reum since 2021, surprised fans with the announcement on social media.
The new mum, who revealed in an interview with People that the baby boy was welcomed via a surrogate, said that she had always wanted to be a mum.
"It's always been my dream to be a mother and I'm so happy that Carter and I found each other," the new mum told PEOPLE. "We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy."
Paris also shared the lovely news with a super cute photo of a close-up of her hand holding her baby's hand, captioned: 'You are already loved beyond words 💙'.
Since Paris announced the news, celebrities have been leaving messages of congratulations, with Kim Kardashian writing: 'So happy for you guys!!! 🤍', and Perez Hilton saying: 'Congrats!!!!! ❤️'.
Demi Lovato wrote: 'Congratulations sis!!!!', and model Heidi Klum commented: 'I am Sooooooo happy for you . Sending lots and lots of love ❤️'. (sic)
The announcement comes as a surprise to many fans who saw Paris join Miley Cyrus on stage for her New Year's Eve TV special, and did not appear pregnant. However, as she revealed in her People interview, the baby was via a surrogate.
Paris previously told E! News that they wanted enjoy their first year as a married couple and to expand their family in 2023: "I always loved kids, but I just never found the person that I could trust to do that with," she explained. "But now that I did, I just can't wait, and he's gonna be the best father and we're just gonna have the most magical life together."
