With June fast approaching, it's now less than two weeks until the brand new series of Love Island hits our TV screens, but it looks like there could be a little problem....

Despite the first advert being released and Caroline Flack sending fans wild with daily updates, new photos published online have shown the famous Love Island villa looking very incomplete.

As builders continue to give the villa a spruce up, door frames remain unfitted, with crew being photographed working to a tight deadline.

Let's hope it's ready for the new Islanders going in on Monday 3rd June!

Meanwhile, after ITV2 bosses confirmed the show's start date, host Caroline Flack revealed Love Island: Aftersun will also be returning, with live episodes every Sunday when the series begins.

Caroline shared the advert on her Instagram Story, writing, 'Not forgetting love island AFTERSUN is BACK... Sunday 9th of June y'all'. sic

The popular presenter later shared another clip of her from past shows, adding, 'So join me live every Sunday', and another writing, 'Sunday's at 10pm. I'm buzzing.' sic

With rumours hotting up everyday about which singletons will be entering the villa, yesterday it was revealed by The Daily Star that this year's Islanders will be paid a fee of £250 per week to 'compensate' for their time.

Although this seems a little low, just think if they are in the villa from start to finish, that's a cool £2000 for sitting around a pool in the sun!
