Pop stars Katy Perry and Taylor Swift have been having a feud for many years, all stemming from when they 'shared' some backing dancers, but now they seem to have made up.
Taking to social media on the opening night for her 'reputation' tour, Taylor shared a video of a parcel she had received from the 'Dark Horse' singer, which included a message saying, 'miscommunications' and 'deeply sorry', along with an actual olive branch.
The Instagram Story shared by Taylor shows the olive branch as she says, "I just got to my dressing room and found this actual olive branch. This means so much to me."
The pair have been having this feud since at least 2014, and Taylor's 'Bad Blood' and Katy's 'Swish Swish' are said to be about the situation. The feud is believed to have started when some of Taylor's backing dancers were hired by Katy, while they weren't working for Taylor.
However, there appeared to be a misunderstanding which caused tensions, and a few years ago Taylor spoke to Rolling Stone magazine saying, "She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me."
This sign of peace from Katy was delivered as Taylor's 'reputation' tour gets on its way in Arizona. After touring the US, the 'Shake It Off' singer will be coming to the UK in June where she will be performing four dates in the UK. Taking to her socials a couple of months ago Taylor revealed the exciting news that she would be supported by both Camila Cabello and Charlie XCX.
This news came after weeks of speculation that both Taylor and Camila could be touring together as their tour dates matched up.
Tickets for Taylor's UK dates are still available in Manchester and London from KISS-tickets.com. Taylor's four UK dates are below:
JUNE 2018
Manchester Etihad Stadium – Fri 8th
Manchester Etihad Stadium - Sat 9th
London Wembley Stadium – Fri 22nd
London Wembley Stadium - Sat 23rd
Ahead of Taylor's 'reputation' tour she has been giving her fans a little insight into what to expect. Last month the singer announced she would be having three stages on her tour, she later revealed how she would be quickly getting from one stage to another, using a 'rocket slide'!
Meanwhile, Katy attended the Met Gala earlier this week and showed off an amazing outfit. Her outfit included huge wings for the 'Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination' themed event.
