Body found in Needham Lake in the search for missing man
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
Police searching for a missing man in Needham Market say they have recovered the body of a man in the lake.
Officers started their search of Needham Lake, off Coddenham Road on Friday 27th September.
The searches continued across the weekend, with police teams and assistance from Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue, and Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service.
Yesterday evening on Sunday 29th September, the body of a man was recovered from the water.
Suffolk Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner, while the deceased's next of kin have been informed.
